2019 Vauxhall Crossland X – Vauxhall started building the Mokka. A sub-compact crossover SUV that shares the Gamma II platform with the Buick Encore and Chevrolet Trax, the Mokka has added the X suffix to the introduction of the facelift.
2019 Vauxhall Crossland X Review
Auto Express understands that this is the first of these two options. The 2019 Vauxhall Crossland X is likely to grow slightly and offer a much more spacious cabin for its second generation; that’s because there’s a clear slot for the car to sit between the Crossland X and Greater Grandland X. We would expect the Mokka to be about 30mm longer, at just over 4.3 meters, but with a substantial increase in wheelbase (perhaps up to 60mm) that should bring benefits to the legs rear passengers.
These dimensions will, in turn, allow Vauxhall to market the car over the Crossland X, as a competitor of the production version of the Skoda Vision X concept, for example. Our exclusive images show how the longer and more spacious car will benefit from its arrival soon after a brand new Corsa to offer more chunk-like looks that are always clearly linked to those of the supermini.
Vauxhall Crossland X 2019 Performance
Crossland X’s 1.2 liter petrol engine is available with three horsepower: 80 hp, 108 hp and 128 hp. We have not yet tested the 80bhp version, but the 108bhp feels punchy and ready to rev, and it will meet the needs of most people. If you want extra performance, the 128 bhp version is even more peppery.
The base version of the 1.6-liter diesel, which produces 98 hp, feels a bit underpowered and slow in its acceleration. But the alternative 118bhp offers a lot of performance with a lot of low end. However, we would always be tempted to stick to gasoline. you will have to travel a lot of kilometers to justify the higher purchase price of diesel.
