Dacia, the affordable car brand of Romania, is planning a new generation of its capable SUV, the Duster. Its replacement is expected to be launched in 2018, and the engineering team is already testing the 2019 Dacia Duster as a prototype.
Dacia Duster Exterior 2019
The refreshed Duster arrives on the same basement and in the same proportions as the outgoing version. The designers, however, reworked each model panel and also pushed the 100mm windshield forward to open more space indoors. The refreshed Duster also has a bolder grille version and new lighting units are moved to the corners. The hood line and waistline are also raised while the prominent flaring outlines add to the rough look of the model. Chrome plated skid plates, standard LED taillights, a new taillight, a 17-inch rim, aluminum accents and the 2019 Dacia Duster will probably add to all the improvements with new color options and probably with the new outdoor theme.
Dacia Duster 2019 Interior
The Duster boats facelifted the much-improved interior and the new version will not bring more updates. Dacia introduced the soft-touch materials and improved infotainment system to the updated version. The new infotainment system supports the Apple Car Play and Android Auto features. The system is higher up on the redesigned dashboard and the refreshed model has also repositioned the vents. The new interior update has also introduced the new steering wheel and new seats as well as the new storage compartments. The new Duster will also offer multi-view cameras, blind spot monitoring, automatic headlights, autonomous braking and more active safety equipment.
2019 Dacia Duster Engine
Due to the successful showrooms in 2018, the refreshed SUV represents a step forward in the Duster lifecycle. It will introduce modified versions of the 1.2-liter petrol and 1.5-liter diesel engines of the current Duster, and will also share the same platform as the current car, which will make it almost identical in terms of dimensions. However, the boss of the brand, Laurens van der Acker, says that each body panel is new.
