A prototype of the upcoming 2019 Audi Q3 was captured during testing in Germany. This new concise crossover will lead the well-known MQB platform that supports medium-sized and compact Volkswagen vehicles. The model was introduced in 2011, after which it was redesigned. So, it really needs a major facelift considering the basics, the technology and the design. Starting from the outside, because of the new architecture, Q3 will be slightly larger than before, and it will show some interesting adjustments throughout the body. Larger dimensions will lead to a deeper and more comfortable space of course. However, even though it will get bigger, the Audi should be lighter. Under the hood, there will be several engines among which plug-in hybrid versions. Its main rival on the market is the Range Rover Evoque.
Audi Q3 Redesign 2019
While the crossover still carries a lot of camouflage, it seems that the exterior design will not undergo major changes for the next iterations of the model. This was not a surprise given the recent new model that brought the four rings was not very different from their respective predecessors. The devil is indeed in the details as the headlights have different shapes compared to the outgoing 2019 Audi Q3 and behind you can see the tail lights have also changed. Since we mentioned the light beams, it is quite easy to distinguish the prototypes from each other (other than looking at the license plates) because these test vehicles have different lighting arrangements. For example, the one with a number plate ending with “4908” is the most luxurious of all enjoying a complete LED configuration and a large turn signal. Others are of lower levels with LEDs only for certain functions and combined with old halogen indicators.
Audi Q3 Interior 2019
The publications are good enough to share photos with us and they reveal that the redesigned crossover will have a high-tech booth with a new group of instruments and a steering wheel. The model also features a new infotainment system housed in a metal-lined casing similar to that used on the new A6 and A7. While the latest model has a lower 8.6-inch display, the 2019 Audi Q3 features a conventional switching mechanism that allows passengers to independently adjust their temperature control settings. Below the three buttons is a series of buttons that control the hazard warning light, the parking sensor and the Drive Select system. We can also see the shifter wrapped in leather, the ignition buttons, and the metal accents. The center console also has a small storage area with an additional input and a USB charging port.
Audi Q3 Engine
It does not seem surprising to know the new design of the 2019 Audi Q3 that will recycle the latest VW Group MQB. This particular support, given for the VW Tiguan type along with other mid-sized products, ensures that many Q3s will likely be front-wheel drive, despite the fact that more efficient versions are likely to be supplied with Quattro AWD. Audi will add the mentioned Q3 RS, using a controversial 2.5-liter turbo five-cylinder that will help the top 400 hp. About more desire will be the economy of fuel efficient fuel as well as diesel engines, cut for carbon cracking moments.
New type of hybrid plug-in in operation. The car will complete the all-new Q4 crossover, recently highlighted by Audi’s President Rupert Stadler. The hybrid edition could be more than a card with the result of the new trend to win the electrification within the Volkswagen Group. With all the significant factors adopted by RS Q3, hybrids need to focus on fuel performance rather than efficiency.
Audi Q3 Prices
Yes, but only if Germany decides to treat the 2019 Audi Q3 correctly. There is a lot of room for improvement, maybe even too much. BMW X1 may refuse RWD unique arrangement, but it leads to improvements in many other areas and Merc may try to compete with the new GLA. Evoque is just a remarkable post and that would be enough for that, while the Infiniti QX30 has the lowest starting price. New Q3 need to find the sweet spot there, when it arrives late next year, probably with the same base price of around $ 32k.
