The 2018 Volvo S60 is a traditional luxury sedan with a moderately sporty twist. With its comfortable interior, wide range, efficient engines, and high safety scores, the 2018 S60 is a good choice sadly disappointed by an outdated infotainment system. It scores 6.8 out of 10 on our scale. The Volvo S60 is available in a wide range of Dynamic, Registration, Platinum Registration, R-Design, Polestar, and Cross Country Terrain finishes with each of many individual packages and options.
The standard 2018 Volvo S60 T5 Dynamic comes standard with LED daytime running lights, leather upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, interior light, eight-way driver’s seat, machined aluminum trim, remote start, Tucan Diamond Cut wheels 18 inches and a motorized glazed sunroof. R-Design steering wheel and gear selector, sport pedals, Harman Kardon premium 12-speaker audio system, powered front passenger seat, digital dashboard, Sensus Connect with navigation, alloy wheels Ixion 19 inch and sport -tuned chassis. Th S60 Polestar comes standard with exclusive 20-inch Polestar wheels, high-performance summer tires, six-piston Brembo front brakes, Polestar Ohlins shock absorbers and a Polestar carbon fiber front splitter. Polestar rear spoiler, Polestar sports leather upholstery, heated front and rear seats, and a Polestar grille and badging.
Most S60s feature a 240-horsepower 2.0-liter turbo-4 and 258 lb-ft of torque that Volvo scores as T5. The base engine allows you to transport the front wheels, or all four wheels for an additional $ 2,000, via an 8-speed automatic transmission. The turbo-4 provides enough acceleration, but it looks ruder under acceleration than it should, when you consider that its price can climb up to $ 50,000. We also noticed occasional confusion of the automatic transmission.
