The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Dzire has just made its debut in India as a new compact sedan for the Indian affiliate of Suzuki.
2018 Suzuki Dzire Design
The new DZire is based on Suzuki’s new global compact car platform that has a reinforced floor. In addition to getting a complete design renovation, the new DZire also gets a complete upgrade inside.
Maruti Suzuki also focused on upgrading the interior of the sedan to make it much higher. The most obvious addition to the cab is perhaps a touch screen infotainment system in the middle of the dash, as well as the availability of faux wood inserts for range variants. Elsewhere, the Suzuki Dzire 2018 features a flat-bottomed steering wheel and appears to offer excellent visibility thanks to the thin A-pillars. New dashboard, more comfortable seats, high performance MID, dual instrument console with aluminum insert on the rim, more legroom and more.
2018 Suzuki Dzire Engine
The engines on the DZire are a 1.2 liter K series gasoline engine that rotates around 83 bhp of power and nearly 113 Nm of maximum torque. At the same time, diesel is a 1.3 liter DDiS which produces about 75bhp of power and 190Nm of maximum torque. Both engines come with a five-speed manual and AMT options.
