The redesign 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is expected next year and hold a series of cosmetic upgrades and new features to keep it relevant among rivals. While we showed you the Suzuki Ciaz in China, which made its public debut last week, spy shots have now appeared online on the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz 2018 in the right driving mode. The test mule will be targeted at different markets, including India, Latin America and parts of Asia, where the sedan is sold.
The latest spy images from Alivio reveal the front and rear design details of the car. Accentuating the new look of the sedan are the revised front and rear bumpers, a new one-piece front grille, black fog lamps with a thin strip that runs along the bottom lip and slightly re-designed rear lights. The high-performance cut of the living room can be accompanied by LED daytime running lights. While there are few domestic details, it is believed that there is more market than the current model.
The main feature updates can include a brand new instrument cluster with chrome surrounded by two powerful, a centralized MID screen, a new tachometer, speedometer hands and a 2-DIN music system. While the Ciaz facelift should be more attractive and richer, the top-spec variant of the line-up will receive a sunroof.
Maruti Suzuki plans to give a new 1.5-liter engine to Ciaz, as reported by Team-BHP. It is also expected that the manufacturer will introduce a new 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engine and will launch the car next year. In addition, Maruti Suzuki could introduce Suzuki’s hybrid hybrid technology, Hybrid Vehicle (SHVS) with the 1.5-liter diesel engine. The launch of the Ciaz with new and more powerful gasoline and diesel engines will improve its appeal in the segment, especially given the competition of the new Honda City and the upcoming Hyundai Verna.
